This is a multi-day course that takes place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Class participants will use the latest technology and equipment to learn to properly install, splice, terminate, test, and troubleshoot optical fiber networks for fiber-to-the-antenna applications. The content focuses on the integration and installation of optical components in order to successfully establish connectivity in FTTA and cell tower applications. Attendees will participate in skills exercises that give practical hands-on experience with splicing, cable preparation, OTDR testing, and optical loss testing. Learn fiber inspection and cleaning, fusion and mechanical splicing, cable and closure preparation, proper cable installation, optical loss testing, OTDR testing and troubleshooting techniques.
