Description

Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is commonly referred to when talking about IP-based telephony and voice transmission. SIP is used for 911 voice traffic, standard telephony, and radio traffic. Understand SIP telephony, SIP signalling and related protocols used in IP telephony. The goal of this session is to provide an introduction into the IP telephony process, some of the complexity in troubleshooting and call analysis, and examples of actual call flow.
