Learn about the Federal government’s vision for and efforts to date on increasing broadband access, use and technology deployment across the country.  For nearly five years, several key Federal Departments and agencies have been working closely together to increase the efficiency and transparency for broadband projects on Federal lands and promote expanded use in rural and underserved communities  These efforts include encouraging expanded broadband investments, empowering communities with tools and resources to attract broadband investments, encouraging competition, promoting meaningful use, and implementing efficiencies for telecommunications providers seeking to work with the Federal government on the deployment of broadband infrastructure on Federal lands.  Come learn about these efforts to-date and what the future holds.
