Framework and Tools for Policy Development to Manage Public Video Systems

  • Wednesday, 03/29/2017: 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM
  • Room: S227
  • Session Number:  W07

Description

As public safety use of video expands exponentially, administrators find themselves confronted with an increasing challenge in managing video and data. As is often the case technology challenges can be overcome; however, issues related to policy can be biggest hurdles for an agency to overcome.  This session examines the different policy considerations that an agency should make to meet that challenge.  This session will not tell agencies what their policies should or should not be but rather help them make sure they have a checklist of considerations as they stand up their system
