Description

If a 911 call goes unanswered because of a malware, ransomware or denial of service attack, lives could be on the line.  As technology advances, is there a bigger cybersecurity risk on an IP-based system than private LMR?  Is there a happy medium? Their interconnected nature creates a cascading series of vulnerabilities, potentially allowing one vulnerability to place all at risk. This talk discusses these threats and outlines the importance of applying cybersecurity expertise to develop agile responses to deactivate the “ticking bomb” that PSAPs and Dispatch Centers face.
