Scott is the Director of Business Development for Cambium Networks, Ltd. focusing on the global industrial communications, public safety and defense markets. In that capacity, Scott is assisting critical infrastructure service providers in the oil & gas and utility vertical markets with their selection of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint fixed wireless broadband solutions to meet their mission critical communication requirements.
Prior to his current role, Scott was the Director of Product Management and Customer Solutions for Motorola Solutions microwave radio portfolio. In that capacity he led the development and execution of Motorola’s microwave product and market development initiatives, including extending the portfolio beyond the 5 GHz unlicensed wireless Ethernet point-to-point microwave market to include solutions in 4 GHz and 6-38 GHz. Serving a broad range of industries including defense, public safety, petrochem, rail, and telecommunications; the solutions enabled ranged from simple building-to-building connectivity, to enabling broadband access to the underserved, to large scale highly redundant networks carrying mission critical traffic.
Scott brings to his role a diverse technology background having worked in the Voice and Data Security, CRM Enterprise Software Application, and Wireless Broadband Data markets; and has held a variety of roles in those markets including sales, product management, marketing management, operations and business development.
Scott holds a BS in Economics from Iowa State University and a MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
