Cuong Luu joined the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate in 2008 to serves as a Program Manager in the Office for Interoperability and Compatibility. In this role, he is responsible for managing, researching, and coordinating in emerging technologies for emergency responder communication systems.
Prior to joining DHS, he worked 10 years in private sector where he gains an extensive knowledge in applied program and project management. His experience has focus on large, complex technology based projects with an emphasis on management of technology driven services.
Mr. Luu had an educational background in networking and information technology management and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and participated in numerous project management and leadership courses during his career.
