ProfileBrian Diemer started his interest in communications during his adolescence through Civil Air Patrol. After beginning his career in the fire service in 1990 he expounded this desire throughout communications and technology. He holds a degree from California State University Long Beach. Brian is a Hazardous Materials Specialist, Paramedic, and member of a Technical Rescue Team. Currently Brian is a Division Chief for Roseville Fire in California. His duties include managing the department’s communications, facilities, fleet, and information technology. Projects have include implementation of a regional computer aided dispatch system, Fire records management systems, staffing systems, electronic patient care reporting, and grants administration. Brian has been an active member of California Interagency Incident Management Team 4 since 2007. He is a member of Placer County Type 3 All Hazards Incident Management Team, and a DHS Communications Unit Leader Instructor. During his tenure Brian has participated in local, regional, state, and Federal Disasters.
