Harriet Miller-Brown is the State 911 Administrator for Michigan. For the past twenty-five years she has been involved in public safety and 911 in Michigan, both at the local and state level. Past work experiences include implementing CAD, radio, and Mobile Data systems, as well as facility construction and operational transitions. Ms. Miller-Brown, as the State 911 Administrator for Michigan, works at policy development, system planning, program oversight and is currently focused on assisting Michigan in moving towards Next Generation 911.
Ms. Miller-Brown is the president of the National Association of State 911 Administrators (NASNA). She holds an associate’s degree in law enforcement from Northwestern Michigan College, a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Western Michigan University, and a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
