ProfileSridhar Kowdley is a Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate First Responders Group’s (FRG) Office for Interoperability and Compatibility. He is leading a number of initiatives including the Project 25 Compliance Assessment Program (P25 CAP). As the Program Manager for P25 CAP, he is responsible for ensuring communications equipment declared by the supplier actually is P25 compliant and tested against the standards with publicly published results. He is also the Program Manager for the DHS First Responder Electronic Jamming Program to assess, evaluate and mitigate impacts of electronic jamming on First Responder communications. He has 30 years of experience in program management, engineering and analysis of civilian, commercial and defense telecommunications and wireless systems and networks. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University NYC and an MS in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University and is a Project Management Professional.
