Tracy Ariel, Director of Advanced Manufacturing and Early College Opportunity Programs with the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU), continues to have active engagement and passion for the betterment of Connecticut’s skilled workforce in support of advanced manufacturing. Ms. Ariel is responsible for the organizational management and oversight of the Advanced Manufacturing Centers (AMC) located at Asnuntuck Community College (Enfield); Housatonic Community College (Bridgeport); Naugatuck Valley Community College (Waterbury); and Quinebaug Valley Community College (Danielson); and the Statewide Advanced Manufacturing Initiative and the Connecticut Early College Opportunities programs.
Ms. Ariel received her Master of Science in Business from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hartford; and has worked in the manufacturing industry for over 20 years of her business career. Ms. Ariel’s experience includes work in Higher Education, Human Resources in the aerospace industry, healthcare and business ownership.
Ms. Ariel presides over the Statewide Advanced Manufacturing Advisory Committee, is a standing committee member for the Eastern Seaboard Apprenticeship Council, a member of Education’s Problem Based Learning Steering Committee of the New England Board of Higher Education, and a member of the education council of the National Associations of Manufacture’s Manufacturing Institute.
