Tracy Ariel, Director of Advanced Manufacturing and Early College Opportunity Programs with the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU), continues to have active engagement and passion for the betterment of Connecticut’s skilled workforce in support of the STEM fields. Ms. Ariel is responsible for the organizational management and oversight of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centers (AMTC) located at seven Connecticut State Community Colleges. She is also the director of statewide Connecticut Early College Opportunities programs located in four Connecticut school districts.
Ms. Ariel received her Master of Science in Business from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hartford; and has worked in the manufacturing and education fields for over 20 years.
Ms. Ariel presides over the Statewide Advanced Manufacturing Advisory Committee, is a standing committee member for the Eastern Seaboard Apprenticeship Council, a member of Education’s Problem Based Learning Steering Committee of the New England Board of Higher Education, and a member of the education council of the National Associations of Manufacture’s Manufacturing Institute. She was recently appointed to the executive board for CT Congresswomen Esty's STEM advisory committee and the executive board for the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS).
