Kevin Jenkins is the Executive Director of the Calhoun County, Alabama 9-1-1 District.
He was previously the Administrator of the Alabama Regional Communications System (Calhoun and Talladega County Commission).
In this role he manages and oversees the operations, maintenance and technical functions of a regional public safety communications system serving over 110 government agencies and 3,100 users, while directing its administrative, financial and accounting responsibilities as a public authority in the State of Alabama (on behalf of and representing the Talladega County Commission and Calhoun County Commission). Early in his career he served as a Police Patrol Officer and a Police Dispatcher/Fire Dispatcher/9-1-1 Operator for the City of Tuscaloosa and a Dispatcher/911 operator for the City of Northport.
Mr. Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Arts, Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama and a law Enforcement Certification from the Alabama Police Academy.
