Additional Information

  • 4-wire Analog Radio and Dry Contact IP Gateway
Link or extend up to 4 channels of 2 or 4-wire analog radio and dry contacts across Layer 2/3 Ethernet networks. Featuring extremely low latency, the TC3846-6 supports Guard Tone and Pilot Tone operation on an uncompressed 64kbps channel....

  • TC3846-6 supports frequencies from 300Hz to 3.4KH. It achieves minimal end-to-end processing latency by using high performance buffering and forwarding technology. The TC3846-6 is also capable of running continuous pilot tones without interruption or quality degradation, made possible with proprietary technology that, unlike VoIP, uses a common clock for both ends. The analog signals ride on a 64Kpbs channel with no compression.

VLAN and QoS for packet prioritization ensure reliable communications. Other key features include traffic monitoring and statistics, network time protocol server (NTP Server), remote firmware upgrade, as well as temperature and power consumption monitoring. Diagnostics include LED indicators, local and remote loop back.

Setup, diagnostics, and management are accessible via web, SNMP, serial console, and telnet.  Industrial hardened version (-40°C to +80°C) comply with industry and environmental standards including IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 & NEMA TS-2.

  • 4-wire Analog Radio and Dry Contact T1/E1 Mux
Plug and play, 4-channel 2 or 4-wire Analog Radio and E&M over T1 Multiplexer. Featuring minimal latency and ESF Framing Support. It's a small channel bank without the setup....

  • The TC8614 is a 4-channel 600Ω Analog & Dry Contact-over-T1/ E1 Multiplexer that allows network managers the flexibility of leveraging their existing T1/E1 circuits by adding low cost analog or dry contact links as needed. It is simple to install and comes standard with built-in power redundancy.

    The TC8614 2-wire and 4-wire configurations.

Diagnostics are extensive and include DIP switches for Local & Remote Loopback and other application configuration switches. Each unit also provides multiple LEDs for Alarm, Power, Vcc, T1/E1 Status, and On/Sync or RLY/DET LEDs for each channel.

The built-in Sync mechanism verifies both device and T1/E1 link operation. No other test equipment is required for link and device verification.

The TC8614 is compatible with standard 100Ω T1 and 75Ω / 120Ω E1. The T1/E1 uses a RJ48 connector and the analog and dry contact channels use RJ-11 connectors. Optional BNC adapter cable is available for 75 Ohm E1. Power is 12VDC standard or optional 24VDC, -48VDC, 125VDC, or 115/230VAC with an external power cube. Optionally, a high temperature version (-20°C to 70°C) and extreme temperature version (-40°C to 80°C) are also available.
