The DHS Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) ensures the Nation’s emergency communications so that federal, state, local, territorial and tribal leaders, emergency responders and leaders of the Nation’s critical infrastructures have the communications available to protect property and save lives.
OEC's mission is to unify and lead the nationwide effort to improve emergency communications capabilities across all levels of government through superior and innovative thought leadership, policy development, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
