Project 25 standards and technologies are impacting almost every aspect of radio system procurement, deployment, administration and use. As the technologies become sophisticated it becomes critical that those involved in system design, deployment and operation are up to date on the latest information. This session provides system managers, system technologists and industry consultants an update on to Project 25 as it stands today, and an in depth look at the advances soon to be available within the standard. The focus will be to provide the audience a solid understanding of how Project 25 technologies and standards are used to build radio communications system from simplex conventional to multi-site trunking, simulcast and secure operation, as well as the process followed to implement user driven requirements with standards based hardware from multiple manufacturers. Discover the tools and knowledge necessary to discuss Project 25 with technology and system suppliers, and to be able to explain the technical and operational implications of a Project 25 system to others in your organization.
