Description:
FREE TO ALL ATTENDEES! A new program to certify the competency, practical knowledge and skills of practicing wireless communications professionals has been launched by the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc). The IEEE Wireless Communication Engineering Technologies (IEEE WCET) Certification program has been designed to address the worldwide wireless industry’s growing and ever-evolving need for qualified communications practitioners. This program will help wireless professionals advance in their field, develop new opportunities in a global marketplace, and certify their expertise with real-world applications. It is designed to serve practitioners with a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least three years of wireless engineering experience. Discuss the benefits associated with WCET Certification for both the individual and the employer, as well as learn by whom and how the delineation was established to include the following wireless areas: RF engineering, propagation and antennas; wireless access technologies; network and service architecture; network management and security; facilities infrastructure; agreements, standards, policies, and regulations; and fundamental knowledge. In addition, review how the exam questions were developed and what resources will be available to help participants prepare for the exam and when and where the tests will be.
