Cleaning and Hygiene

The LVCC was awarded the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR facility accreditation by ISSA, the world’s leading trade association for the cleaning industry. Considered the gold standard for safe facilities, the GBAC program was designed to control the risks associated with infectious agents, including the virus responsible for COVID-19.

Under Informa AllSecure standards, IWCE Expo will facilitate cleaning and hygiene through the following processes:

Enhanced Cleaning

Enhanced, deep cleaning before, during, and after the event will take place, working with the LVCC to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

This includes continuous sanitization throughout the course of an event, with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, restrooms, and food and beverage areas.

Personal Hygiene

Should it be necessary, IWCE Expo will work with local authorities to trace and contact participants at our events.

Increased Air Circulation

The Las Vegas Convention Center’s HVAC systems have been converted to MERV-13 filters and maximize outside (fresh) air up to 100% as environmental conditions permit. The LVCC’s HVAC system will remain running 24-hours a day throughout the course of the event.

Physical Distancing

Under Informa AllSecure standards, IWCE will facilitate physical distancing through the following processes:

Non-Contact Registration

IWCE 2023 will feature contactless registration making the process quicker, easier, and safer with less face-to-face interaction.

Physical Distancing

Please maintain appropriate social distance and respect the personal boundaries of other attendees.

CDC Best Practices

We encourage all attendees and exhibitors to follow these CDC best practices for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of illness:

How we can all help:

  • Wash hands frequently
