Vincent Sritapan a Portfolio Manager in the Physical and Cyber Security (PCS) Division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Science & Technology Directorate (S&T). Mr. Sritapan oversees the Infrastructure Protection portfolio supporting the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He is also the Program Manager for the Mobile Security Research and Development program where he manages mobile device security and mobile applications security projects aimed at accelerating the adoption of secure mobile technologies for the Department, government and global community to ensure the homeland security mission.
Mr. Sritapan currently serves as the Co-Chair with DoD, NIST & GSA for the Federal CIO Council’s Federal Mobility Group helping drive the federal strategy in mobility and share information across Departments and Agencies. Additionally, Mr. Sritapan serves as the Co-Chair with DoD for the Committee for National Security Systems’ Mobile & Wireless Security (CNSS) Working group to address policy and directives for mobility as it pertains to national security systems.
Prior to joining S&T, Vincent spent three years with the DHS’ Office of the Chief Information Security Officer as the Technical Lead and Component Coordinator in the Information Security Architecture and Engineering Division. He holds a BS in Information Systems from California State University Northridge, an MA in National Security Studies and an MBA in Information Assurance and Security Management from California State University San Bernardino. Mr. Sritapan is a direct commissioned Information Professional Officer in the United States Navy Reserve, a National Science Foundation CyberCorps Scholarship for Service Alumnus and an Office of the Director of National Intelligence - Intelligence Community Scholar Alumnus.
