Since 2004, Mark E. Crosby has served as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA), a national association and leading advocate for business enterprises that rely on wireless communications systems. EWA provides its members and clients with frequency coordination, license preparation, spectrum management and associated services. Throughout his career, Mark has been an advocate for the efficient and effective use of spectrum. Under his leadership, EWA fiercely protects its members’ rights in the spectrum regulatory environment and has grown to become the most trusted frequency coordinator in the business/industrial market.
An expert in spectrum policy, Mark is a member of the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee, which advises the Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information at the National Telecommunications & Information Administration on spectrum policy issues. In 2014, TodaysWirelessWorld.com named Mark Crosby one of the Top 100 wireless technology experts.
Prior to joining EWA, Mark was president of Access Spectrum LLC, a company he founded in 2000 to pioneer spectrum band management for private wireless licensees deploying voice and data technologies.
From 1975 until 2000, Mark served as president of and CEO of the Industrial Telecommunications Association (ITA), during which time ITA became a leading advocate for the private wireless community.
Mark Crosby is a member of the Access Spectrum board of directors, an associate member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, a fellow in the Radio Club of America (RCA) and secretary/treasurer for the Land Mobile Communications Council (LMCC).
Mark Crosby earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management, University of Delaware.
