Mr. Boucher has been responsible for the architecture and development of the Mutualink Interoperability system. He has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications research and development, with most of that focused on leading-edge voice communications. Mr. Boucher holds several key Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and collaboration patents and also led the development of the world's first Voice-over-Broadband last-mile product.
Professional affiliations include:
• Department of Homeland Security Public Safety VoIP Working Group (PSVWG) 2008-2012.
Active in developing the Bridging System Interface (BSI) for LMR Interoperability.
• Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) – Member of the Broadband Working Group
PSCR is a joint effort between NIST/CTL and NTIA/ITS, headquartered in Boulder, CO
• National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) Technology Committee
Mr. Boucher received his BSEE in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is an experienced firefighter and EMT.
