Once quoted by a major city CIO as “the innovative engine behind our critical communications plan,” Rishi Bhaskar has successfully leveraged his years of experience in commercial and Government markets to create innovative business strategies for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions. He is a driving force in creating solutions that capture larger market share in traditional markets in addition to new market entry strategies. Rishi currently leads and is responsible for the profit & loss for Ericsson’s North America Utilities and Public Sector vertical including Energy, Oil & Gas, Federal, State & Local Government. He oversees, sales, strategy development, solution development, alliances, and go-to market execution. Prior to Ericsson he was responsible for strategy development and market strategies across Motorola’s North America customer base including State and Local and Federal Governments, and Utility customers, where he brought double digit growth in Motorola’s LTE business. Rishi also served as an AVP of Alliances and Business Development at Alcatel-Lucent, where he led all indirect sales for Alcatel-Lucent’s non-carrier markets, and all business development activity for the government, energy, and transportation markets. His expeditious rise to his current position has been the direct result of his high energy, fiscally conscious, creative sales persona, and his ability to approach each new business challenge with his intrinsic flair for innovation, creative problem-solving, and measured risk-taking to drive revenue, consistent growth and market penetration.
