ProfileMichael Marusich is a Senior Project Manager at Liberum, LLC. Mr. Marusich has over 25 years experience serving the information technology, telecommunications, and public safety industries in the private and public sectors. Prior to coming to Liberum in 2018, he served for 12 years as a Senior Program Manager in the State of Washington's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). There he served as Washington’s 800 MHz Rebanding Project Manager; staff to the State Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC); and, chaired the SIEC Advisory Workgroup (SAW). Marusich also served as the State’s Deputy Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) and Technical Lead on the Washington OneNet (WON) program. Marusich is a member of the Washington Association of Public Safety Communications Officials International/National Emergency Number Association (WA-APCO/NENA) and has over 25-years’ experience in the public and private sector. He has served as an Interim Director for Information Technologies and Communications/E-911 Director for a WA municipality, Sr. Technical Consultant to the public safety community, as well as Product/Project Manager for several public safety equipment and system manufacturers. He has also served on national public safety advisory and working committees for APCO, NENA, and the former Public Safety Wireless Network (PSWN). He has presented whitepapers and served as a speaker/panelist at conferences relative to public safety technologies and project management best practices. Marusich holds a certificate in Marketing Excellence from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, a certificate in Industrial Electronics from El Paso Vocational/Technical College, and is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
