Scott Longhurst, Government Affairs Manager at Crown Castle, is responsible for governmental affairs activities for the towers, small cells, and fiber business units in the Southern California region.
Prior to joining Crown Castle, Mr. Longhurst was a partner in a site acquisition and land use planning firm, providing site development services to the telecommunications and real estate development industries. He has also worked in various advisory and consulting capacities specializing in government relations, program and project management, business development, land use planning, entitlement processing, site acquisition and construction management.
Mr. Longhurst is a founding member of the California Wireless Association (CalWA), and is currently an Executive Board member and co-chair of the Regulatory Committee. Mr. Longhurst is active in numerous business and charitable organizations, and serves as a commissioner in his hometown of Manhattan Beach, CA. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine and has a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
