David Price has been involved in aviation in New England for more than twenty-five years. A licensed Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor, David began his career as a corporate pilot in 1992 and began teaching aviation in 1998. From 2005 – 2010, David became a Professor and Dean of Aviation at Daniel Webster College in NH. He became the Dean of Aviation Science at Bridgewater State University from 2010 – 2015, and during his time there was successful in earning international collegiate accreditation for the Flight Training Program.
In 2015, David decided to combine his interests in aviation and robotics and focus on UAS flying and their applications. David Co-Founded the Drone Consultant Group which provides training and consultation for the private and public sectors. David also flies UASs for Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI). At GPI, David developed an in-house safety program, and has conducted a well-rounded portfolio of projects utilizing drones. This includes: bridge and building inspections, volumetrics, orthomosaics, high mast light inspections, wind turbine inspections, and erosion assessment.
