I began my Law Enforcement Career as a Police Cadet with the Springfield Police Department in 1987. In the winter of 1990 joined the Hartford Police Department rising to the rank of Lieutenant and spending 10 years as the Supervisor of the Crime Analysis and Mapping Unit. Upon retiring I was engaged to launch Crime Analysis for the New Britain CT Police Department and then the University of Massachusetts Amherst Police Department. In 2014 I accepted the position of Director of Crime Analysis for the Springfield Police Department. Here in Springfield we have since launched the Real Time Analysis Center and grown from a department of 3 to a 20 a day operation with 13 employees.
