  • 4-wire Analog Radio over IP Gateway TC3846-6
    Connect 4-wire (or 2-wire) analog radio and dry contacts across Layer 2/3 Ethernet networks. Featuring extremely low latency, the TC3846-6 supports Guard Tone and Pilot Tone operation on an uncompressed 64kbps channel. Part of the JumboSwitch family....

  • TC3846-6 JumboSwitch card supports frequencies from 300Hz to 3.4kHz. It achieves minimal end-to-end processing latency by using high performance buffering and forwarding technology. 

    The TC3846-6 is also capable of running continuous pilot tones without interruption or quality degradation, made possible with proprietary technology that, unlike VoIP, uses a common clock for both ends. The analog signals ride on a 64Kpbs channel with no compression. VLAN and QoS for packet prioritization ensure reliable communications.

    Other key features include traffic monitoring and statistics, network time protocol server (NTP Server), remote firmware upgrade, as well as temperature and power consumption monitoring. Diagnostics include LED indicators, local and remote loop back. Setup, diagnostics, and management are accessible via web, SNMP, serial console, and telnet.  Industrial hardened version (-40°C to +80°C) comply with industry and environmental standards including IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 & NEMA TS-2.   • The TC8624 comes in 2-wire and 4-wire configurations and is plug and play -- no lengthy setup. As part of the Mini Channel Bank series, the TC8624 is equipped with the R2 (Reset*Reset) troubleshooting button. Instead of driving to a remote site, the R2 button allows users to monitor the remote device's alarm status from a central location. With a series of simple button presses, the R2 button will also reset the latch on the remote device directly from the central office.

    Each unit also provides multiple LEDs for Alarm, Power, Vcc, T1/E1 Status, and On/Sync or RLY/DET LEDs for each channel. The built-in Sync mechanism verifies both device and T1/E1 link operation. No other test equipment is required for link verification. The TC8624 is compatible with standard 100Ω T1.
