MARCH 9 UPDATE: IWCE IS OFFICIALLY POSTPONED (SCROLL FOR FAQS)
As part of a Managed Postponement Program and after close consultation with our partners in the industry, we have made the difficult decision to postpone IWCE 2020.
With the rapidly developing circumstances and in light of corporate travel considerations continuing to escalate, we’ve worked as quickly as possible to explore our options.
Having spent the past year preparing for the event with our advisory boards, speakers, exhibitors and event partners, we’re genuinely disappointed not to be able to host you in three weeks, but the experience and safety of our community and everyone involved in the event continues to be our top priority.
The intention is to announce a new date shortly. Exhibitors and attendees will be contacted with further information regarding booth contracts and registrations.
We understand there will be a lot of questions and concerns following this announcement. For attendees, we will automatically transfer your registration to the rescheduled event. For questions and concerns, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We are aiming to answer your queries within 48 hours but due to a high volume of emails, please expect a slight delayed reply and we thank you in advance for your patience.
For exhibitors and sponsors, we will transfer your program to the future event. Your Account Manager will be reaching out personally in the next few days to discuss your immediate questions. We continue to work diligently to ensure all details are buttoned down and we thank you for your patience.
As always, we would like to thank everyone who helps to make the event possible and recognize that our event does not happen without your support. We appreciate the open discussions and encouragement. The conversations we’ve had over the last several days have proven how lucky we all are to be part of this supportive, tight-knit industry. FAQS RELATED TO SHOW POSTPONEMENT
When will the event now take place?
As you can imagine we are considering every possible option, as well as attempting to slot the event into a time of year convenient to the majority of those involved. The IWCE team, as well as Informa Tech, are working round the clock to provide the community with our strategy and next steps.
As we develop the new strategy we will provide communication in real time that will be shared with our community.

Room blocks and housing reservations:
Hotel reservations within our room block are automatically being canceled. Refunds will be processed in 3-5 business days. Any specific questions around housing should go to the relevant housing provider. Our hotel partner onPeak can be contacted via the following:
If someone wants to reinstate their reservation, they should call their hotel directly.
Exhibitors who have hotel sub-block agreements will be contacted with more information on how to transfer sub-block or release obligation.
Exhibitor Shipment Info
NOTE: If you have any freight that is scheduled to arrive at the Show Site address, we recommend that you call your carrier as soon as possible to redirect the shipment. For freight which has already been sent to the advanced warehouse, GES are providing a 50% discount on the rate. Please also arrange for your carrier to collect this from the warehouse by Friday, March 20, 2020.
You can cancel any orders made through GES and they will be refunded for any work not yet done (graphics ordered and produced etc.). For more information, GES can be contacted via 800-801-7648 and 702-515-5970 but please expect a delayed reply here – GES are working hard to reply to all queries as soon as possible.
What does this mean for an exhibitor/sponsors?
For exhibitors and sponsors, we will transfer your program to the future event. Your Account Manager will be reaching out personally this week to discuss your immediate questions. We continue to work diligently to ensure all details are buttoned down and we thank you for your patience.
In addition, we are working with our event partners (catering, electrical, lead retrieval, etc.) on coordinating the necessary procedures to cancel orders, and we will be sure to communicate these with you as soon as these details are ready. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work through these critical steps to help ensure as smooth as possible of a process for you.
How does this affect my current attendee registration?
For attendees, we will automatically transfer your registration to the rescheduled event.
We ask that you please be patient with us and our vendors. In this difficult time, many of our events and those involving our vendors are being impacted, meaning responses may be delayed.

Is the ETA Educational Forum postponed?
Unfortunately, the ETA Education Forum is also postponed and will be rescheduled alongside IWCE later this year. All registrations will also be forwarded to the new event. If you have any questions, please contact Stacey Orlick, Conference Director – firstname.lastname@example.org.
