Teresa Maher, CSS, has been employed with ETA International for 26 years and previously served as the Executive Vice President before her promotion to president in 2007. She has worked in and is familiar with all aspects of the trade association, having experience with the certification processes; building relationships in the education, manufacturing and government segments; assessment development; and evaluating and accrediting course approvals. She has traveled extensively around the globe delivering the ETA message to Departments of Education, Workforce Development Boards, individual schools, industry conferences, manufacturers, and other associations.
With her experience as a past president of the Consortium for Certified Service Center (CSC) and the International Certification Accreditation Council (ICAC), current technical chair of the SkillsUSA Telecommunications Cabling National Contest, and a Basic Certification Administrator with National Certification Commission, she has aided the accomplishment of ETA’s efforts worldwide. Maher sits on the Board of the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), National Aerospace Technology Advisory Committee (NATAC), and the International Certification Accreditation Council (ICAC). She is a reviewer for Certified Service Center (CSC) and is a member of the Professional Certification Coalition (PCC), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), and National Certification Commission (NCC). Maher is a certified CSS (Customer Service Specialist) and holds an FCC Technician Class operator license #KD9DCV. A mother of six, she resides in Greencastle, IN with her husband, Stephen.
