Since 2004, Mark E. Crosby has served as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA), is the leading national trade association and advocate for business enterprises, private carrier network operators, equipment manufacturers, and service providers that support the private wireless industry. A frequency advisory committee certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), EWA provides members and clients with consulting services, frequency coordination, license preparation, spectrum management and associated business intelligence services.
Throughout his career, Mark has advocated for the efficient and effective use of spectrum. An expert in spectrum policy, Mark is a member of the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee, which advises the Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information at the National Telecommunications & Information Administration on spectrum policy issues.
Prior to joining EWA, Mark was president of Access Spectrum LLC, a company he founded in 2000 to pioneer spectrum band management for private wireless licensees deploying voice and data technologies.
From 1975 until 2000, Mark served as president of and CEO of the Industrial Telecommunications Association (ITA), during which time ITA became a leading advocate for the private wireless community.
Mark Crosby is a member of the Access Spectrum board of directors, an associate member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, a fellow in the Radio Club of America (RCA) and secretary/treasurer for the Land Mobile Communications Council (LMCC).
Mark Crosby earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management, University of Delaware.
