Exhibitor Marketing Tips

Thank you for signing up to exhibit at IWCE 2019, being held March 4 - 8, 2019 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. To help you promote your participation at the show, we have put together this list of tips to make the most of your investment and time at the show.

Event Description

The International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) is the premier annual event for critical communications technology professionals, featuring the latest products and technology from over 400 exhibitors and a five-day conference program comprised of short courses, power sessions, trainings and workshops. Over 7,000 individuals attend from a diverse group of industry professionals including government/military; public safety; utility; transportation and business enterprise. Features on the show floor include IWCE’s Network Infrastructure Forum, the App Center, Drone Zone and the Wearables Technology Pavilion. IWCE 2019 will take place March 4-8, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Incorporate the IWCE logos and banners into your promotional pieces. Need a custom size? Just let us know by emailing and we can create one for you. 

Website Page

Create a special page on your website dedicated to your booth at the show. Be sure to include your booth number, products and services you will be showing, or new product announcements you will be making at the show. If you are presenting or doing a demonstration, include the title, date, time description and benefits.


Insert print or banners ads into trade publications and company newsletters. Check out the list of IWCE’s media partners to get started and don’t forget about IWCE’s content partner, IWCE’s Urgent Communications.


Send an e-blast to your customers and prospects with your booth number, floor plan link, products and services you will be showing, and/or any new product announcements.

Exhibit Hall Pass

News Announcements

News announcements tell your story in a straight forward fashion. They offer timely, complete and objective information and should provide answers to “Who,” What,” “Where” and “Why.” The news announcements should lead with the most important information at the top. And don't forget to add your IWCE booth number so media attending the event can find you.

Click here to access a template news announcement IWCE created for you to use as a guide when announcing your participation at the event. It provides you with pertinent information about IWCE and provides you with guidance on the information journalists are interested in learning about from your company’s participation at IWCE. Once your news announcement is complete, send it to key media outlets/journalists. Here are some important tips:

  • Use product innovations to capture attention of the press
  • Have high quality, media-ready photographs of your new product
  • Make sure someone in your booth is appointed to speak with press and that everyone in your booth knows of this individual's designation

Get additional coverage for your press releases by submitting it to IWCE's Urgent Communications Editor, Donny Jackson for review. Signed up for IWCE's Exhibits Plus program? Simply login to the exhibitor console and upload your press releases to your online exhibitor listing. Don't forget to add the news announcement to your company website to showcase your news to your customers, prospects and media.

Pitch Letter

A pitch letter should be used when contacting news outlets/journalists. The pitch letter should have a news angle of interest to the news outlet. The letter should be short and concise. It is where you “sell” your story idea to the journalist. You must show the journalist what makes your news unique and why they should cover your announcement. In this letter don't forget to offer them a visual image (if you have one), a conversation with a company spokesperson and always include your contact information for an easy reply.
